The pilot

Callum Wallace, 28, Oakville Ontario

Callum was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. In 2020 Callum earned his Private Pilots certificate with Spectrum Airways in Burlington Ontario, followed soon after with successful completion of the instrument rating. Callum has had the “aviation bug” since a child. It was only a couple years ago he received his Medical Certificate allowing him to pursue his passion for flight.

The plane

V35B BEECHCRAFT BONANZA

Perhaps the most revolutionary airplane in light plane history, the distinctive, V-tail Bonanza was a fast, light, comfortable and easy-to-fly four-seater aircraft that made personal transportation in light airplanes a reality.

The ROUTE

A trip this scale takes considerable planning. Key factors like fuel availability, usable approaches, temperature, and weather averages are carefully considered. Each country has their own laws and regulations which need to be navigated along with overflight permits and handlers where needed.
